Mills Lawn Elementary School Teacher is honored
by the Ohio Lottery
YELLOW SPRINGS - Ben Trumbull was recently named Teacher of the Month by the Ohio Lottery for the month of October. He represents the Dayton area. He teaches 5th grade at Mills Lawn Elementary School in Greene County. Trumbull has been with the school for 10+ years.
Trumbull is set aside from other teachers because of his ability to bring harmony to the staff and his ability to help run conducive meetings where fellow staff members feel heard and respected. He is also set aside from other professionals because of his skill and knowledge in technology. He has helped the school become “tech ready” and is confident in doing so. He is a skilled mediator who is able to bring harmony amongst his passionate colleagues.
Trumbull is described by his principal, Christine Hatton, as “a master teacher, great friend and school leader.” For being named a Teacher of the Month, Trumbull will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Bengals’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Lottery.
