Norwood... John Stacey, a teacher at Norwood Middle School, is the recipient of the Teacher of the Month Award given by The Ohio State Lottery for the month of October. Stacey represents the Greater Cincinnati area.

Stacey’s students recognize him for the money out of his own pocket that he spends on the classroom. He creates a fun learning environment where students enjoy learning and truly have fun. One of his students comments that no learner feels left out in his classroom. Stacey currently teaches math to 7th graders.

For being recognized as October’s Teacher of the Month, Stacey will receive four tickets to an upcoming Bengals’ game (October 28), recognition at the game, and a merchandise prize pack.
