Akron... Megan Longfellow, a teacher at Field High School, recently was recognized as Teacher of the Month for the month of October by The Ohio State Lottery. Longfellow represents the Akron/Canton area.

Longfellow is noted by one of her students as having faith in students’ abilities and able to come up with ideas to solve problems between students. Longfellow currently teaches both English and Math to grades 11 and 12.

For being recognized as Teacher of the Month, Longfellow will be recognized at a Cavs’ game and receive four tickets to the game (Nov. 2) and a merchandise prize pack.
