Guidance Counselor is recognized by The Ohio State Lottery
Avon Lake... Randi Muck, a High School Guidance Counselor at North Ridgeville High School, recently was named Teacher of the Month by the Ohio State Lottery. Muck is November’s Teacher of the Month for the Lorain area.
Muck has been instrumental in developing the North Ridgeville City School’s Business Advisory Team’s Internship Program. She solicited business and community members and students for the program, which began in the summer of 2006. The program has been extremely beneficial for the students that have participated.
In addition to working with students, Muck has made presentations on bullying and anti-harassment to her fellow staff members so that they can use the information in their classrooms. Patricia Bahr, the school Principal, writes that “Mrs. Muck is truly deserving of this award.”
For being recognized as Teacher of the Month, Muck will receive four tickets to the Browns’ game, recognition at the event, and a Browns’ merchandise prize pack. Muck will also receive an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from The Ohio State Lottery.
The Ohio State Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year. For more information about the program and for nomination forms, go to www.Ohiolottery.com.
