North Ridgeville... Elizabeth Fleming is a Pre-K teacher at the Early Childhood Learning Center in North Ridgeville. She is described as an excellent teacher and a positive and hard working staff member. “She embraces all of her students and creates a community of friends within her classroom where all friends treat each other as friends should. She uses ongoing formative assessment and facilitates the learning of her students by helping them to construct and make meaning from their classroom, school and life experiences,” says School Principal Christine Palumbo.

Fleming was recently recognized as the Ohio Lottery’s Teacher of the Month for the month of May. She represents the Lorain area. For being recognized as Teacher of the Month, Fleming will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Indians’ game, merchandise from the team, recognition at the event, and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the team.

The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year.
