Xenia High School teacher is named Teacher of the Month
XENIA - Linda Wilson is an English teacher for grades nine through twelve at Xenia High School located in Greene County. She recently was named a Teacher of the Month for the month of March by the Ohio Lottery. Wilson is the English Department Chairperson.
“Linda goes out of her way to challenge all of our students from the bottom to the top,” says assistant principal Karol Warden. Wilson teaches Honor and Advanced Placement courses but also works with struggling freshmen who need intervention. She is a leader and a dedicated teacher. She makes sure that students have the tools they need to pass reading and writing.
For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Wilson will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Reds’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
