Simon Kenton Elementary School teacher is recognized
by the Ohio Lottery
XENIA An intervention specialist at Simon Kenton Elementary School named Barbara Markley was honored by the Ohio Lottery as a Teacher of the Month for the month of February. She represents the Dayton area.
Markley is described as a hard working employee. She makes learning a positive experience for her students. She is highly respected by her colleagues. She started a Garden Club for the school. Markley “leads by example,” says Assistant Principal Karol Warden.
For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Markley will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Cyclones’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
