Fifth grade teacher of Wayne County receives recognition
from the Ohio Lottery
WOOSTER - Lynette Kouche is a fifth grade teacher from St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception School. Kouche has been a teacher at the school for 31 years. She has a strong reputation for her teaching skills and has earned the respect of many because of her devotion to her students. Kouche was recently named a Teacher of the Month by the Ohio Lottery for the month of February. She represents the Akron-Canton area.
One of her trademarks is a Christmas card sale conducted by her students to support an area family through Children’s Services. Students design cards and sell them. Later they shop with Kouche throughout the year for items to help the family through the holidays. Kouche is described as a “truly outstanding teacher.”
For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Kouche will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
