Intervention Specialist in Cuyahoga County is recognized
by the Ohio Lottery
INDEPENDENCE - Carrie Grendel of Independence was recently honored by the Ohio Lottery as a Teacher of the Month for the month of February. She represents the Cleveland area. Grendel is an Intervention Specialist for grades 7 and 8 at Independence Middle School located in Cuyahoga County.
Grendel is described as organized and dedicated. She tries to develop new ways to make the content areas in the classroom more interesting to her students. She has a challenging job and still manages to face everyday with a smile and embrace the challenges that each day brings when it comes to her students. She is active in the community and is the advisor for the Builder’s Club, a service club at the school.
For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Grendel will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
