Second Grade Teacher Receives Recognition by the Ohio Lottery

Perrysburg, OH-- Margarit Richter teaches second grade at Frank Elementary in Perrysburg, Oh. She is being recognized by the Ohio Lottery as February’s Teacher of the Month for the Toledo area.

Richter is proud of her students and inspires confidence in all students. She is described by a parent as “generous with commitment, encouragement, and kindness.” Recently the school had a food drive, Richter personally matched her students’ contributions.

She is described as “changing lives”. For Richter, teaching is much more than a job; it is a child, a life, a person that is important. She enjoys a hug from a past student and it is not uncommon to see older children lined up outside her room for a hug from a favorite past teacher, Mrs. Richter.

It is with no surprise that Richter is named the Ohio Lottery Teacher of the Month. She will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, a merchandise prize pack from the team, and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Lottery.
