AKRON – Scott Ross is described as “cut above” by his administrator, James Miller. He looks for different ways to reach his students at Manchester Middle School. Recently, Ross was named an Ohio Lottery Teacher of the Month. He represents the Akron-Canton area for the month of December.

Miller says that Ross does many things throughout the building. He runs the school newspaper, morning announcements, technological support and chairs levy committees. He has taught for over 15 years. Miller says he is “an excellent teacher and an asset to our building.”

For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Ross will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
