Xenia High School Teacher Honored as Teacher of the Month
KETTERING - Tina Daniel was recently named Teacher of the Month by the Ohio Lottery for the month of December. Daniel is an English teacher to all levels of students. She represents the Dayton area.
Daniel is not only a teacher; she also helps in the office, prepares her students for college and is getting her principal licensure. Assistant Principal Karol Warden says, “She does a wonderful job counseling kids who make mistakes or act inappropriately.” Daniel helped to organize a fund raiser for new holiday books and a Battle of the Bands for her Avant Garde students. She is said to be very precise in planning and orchestrating events.
For being recognized as Teacher of the Month, Daniel will receive four tickets to a Dayton Bombers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
