BLUE ROCK - Kristy Browning teaches 9th through 12th graders at Fairfield Academy LTD. Browning was recently named Teacher of the Month by the Ohio Lottery for the month of December. She represents the Columbus area.

Browning has not only devoted herself to teaching but is also a renowned speaker for the regional board for professional development. The Director of Fairfield Academy, Paul J. Billy says, “Ms. Browning’s understanding and patience has given her the opportunity to help those in need.” She is said to have a unique teaching style which she uses daily to work with children who have educational disabilities. Browning is dedicated to holistic improvement, as she is dedicated to helping her students to the best of her ability.

For being recognized as Teacher of the Month, Browning will receive four tickets to a Columbus Blue Jackets’game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
