Kindergarten teacher receives recognition

CHILLICOTHE—Deborah Fyffe is a kindergarten teacher at Bishop Flaget School located in Ross County.  She was recently named Teacher of the Month by the Ohio Lottery.  She represents the Columbus area for the month of April.

 “Mrs. Fyffe is a phenomenal kindergarten teacher.  She starts and ends every day with a smile.  She creates an atmosphere where students are valued for their creativity and individuality as well as their ability to work together,” says Principal Laura Corcoran.  Fyffe is known for making school fun.  She is able to bring students to a level of achievement that goes beyond the expectation of many. 

For being recognized as a Teacher of the Month, Fyffe will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Reds’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
