Kindergarten Teacher is Recognized by The Ohio Lottery

Toledo... Debbie Gallagher is a Kindergarten Teacher at Walbridge Elementary. She is described by a parent as “dynamic.” Gallagher is known for her communication skills and ability to meet individual needs so that students can reach their fullest potential.

Gallagher is well respected by both parents and the school community. She has worked as a teacher over 30 years. She is also a Safety-City Teacher for students entering Kindergarten. She celebrates a Student of the Month program in her classroom. “She sets the standards high for other teachers to follow. Once a student is touched by her kindness, you can only want to keep her in your life,” says parent, Sandy Wiley-Steward.

Gallagher is the recipient of the Teacher of the Month award given by The Ohio Lottery. She represents the month of April for North West Ohio. Gallagher will receive four tickets to a Toledo Mud Hens’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team, and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise

The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year.
