Academic All Star is named by the Ohio Lottery

Toledo - Quentin Ranson is a student at Birmingham Elementary. He was recently honored as an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery.

Ranson is described as an “outstanding student.” Ranson received three very important awards at the school. He won awards for academic excellence, perfect attendance and the Citizenship Award. He has earned these awards every year while attending Birmingham Elementary.

“Quentin is one of the brightest students I’ve had in my years at this school. He participates in all classroom discussions. He follows directions and puts forth his best effort,” says teacher Aimee DeMarco.
For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Ranson will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.

The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year. For more information about the program and for nomination forms, go to the Academic All Star links on this web site's home page.
