Western Reserve Elementary student is named an
Academic All Star

Collins - Katie Kovach is a student at Western Reserve Elementary located in Collins. She was recently named an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery for the month of September. She represents the Lorain area.
“Katie is an outstanding student in many areas. She is a great citizen in our school. Katie also participates in the music program. She participated in 4-H and her AWANA program outside of school,” writes teacher Tracy Lomax. Katie received the all academic award last year for earning all A’s . She is described as being both responsible and a good citizen.
For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Kovach will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Browns’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
