Dayton—Amy McClelland has never missed a day of school through high school yet. Besides her perfect attendance record, she is noted as being a role model for her peers. She was elected to the National Honor Society and participates in many activities.

McClelland serves as Secretary of Student Council, plays Varsity Basketball and Varsity Volleyball, serves as a guidance office aide, and is a DARE role model. Amy helps at the school by showing new students around. She was chosen to be a member of the Dayton Junior Leadership Council. She worked this summer to clean up a park and make it safe for children to enjoy.

McClelland is being recognized as The Ohio State Lottery’s Academic All Star for the month of October. McClelland represents the Dayton area. For being recognized as Academic All Star, she will receive four tickets to a Dayton Bombers’ game (Nov. 3), recognition at the event, and a merchandise prize pack.
