RIPLEY - Katherine White attends Ripley Union Lewis Huntington High School located in Brown County. She was recently honored by the Ohio Lottery as an Academic All Star for the month of November. She represents the Cincinnati area.

White is known to excel in everything. She is a member of the Mock Trial Team, the Academic Team, the Spanish Club, year book staff and is the vice president of the National Honor Society. She volunteers at Matthew 25 Ministries, the community vacation bible school program and the Union Township Library.White plays volleyball and is a member of the cross country team as well as the track team. She has worked as a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant and has helped 7th and 8th graders during summer school. She is ranked number 1 in the class of 2010 and has a 4.0 grade point average.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, White will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Bengals’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
