Academic All Star is named by the Ohio Lottery

INDEPENDENCE - Hallie Dorko is a 7th grade student at Independence Middle School located in Cuyahoga County. She represents the Cleveland area in receiving this award. Her dedication, maturity, and loyalty make her a great recipient of the award.

“Hallie Dorko is one of the most caring, respectful and genuine students I have ever worked with. Her leadership ability can be seen in and out of the classroom,” says School Counselor, Lisa McClain. She is a participant in Student Council and is a member of the band, Pep Club, Recycle Club and member of the basketball team. She is able to earn honor roll every quarter in addition to participating in many activities.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Dorko will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
