MARION - Logan Pirnstill is a 4th grade student at Taft Elementary School in Marion. Recently Pirnstill was recognized by the Ohio Lottery as an Academic All Star for the month of November. He represents the Columbus area.

Pirnstill is described as responsible, a leader and a student with a good attitude. He sets examples for others. He is bright, motivated and is in the “Gifted Program” at Taft Elementary School. Susan Duke, a teacher, says it is a privilege to have Pirnstill in her class and that he is a student on which she can depend.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Pirnstill will receive four tickets to a Columbus Blue Jackets’ game, merchandise from the team, recognition at the event and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the team.
