EAST CANTON - Ida Gorman was recently named an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery for the month of November. Gorman represents the Akron-Canton area. Gorman is a 12th grade student at East Canton High School.

Gorman is described as hard working. “She is going to work hard at all she does in life. I feel that this hard work sets her apart from her peers,” says her Science teacher, Rick Landon.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Gorman will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
