North Ridgeville... Junior Allyssa Bertram recently received recognition from The Ohio Lottery as the Lottery’s May Academic All Star. Bertram represents the Lorain area. Bertram attends North Ridgeville High School and the Joint Vocational School .

Bertram dances, plays softball, and is involved in her Greek Orthodox Youth Organization. Last summer her mission traveled to New Mexico where she assisted in building a daycare. Bertram is the Secretary for the Business Professional of America’s Club for the Junior class. She recently won third place out of 50 students in designing a poster to promote recycling at the Joint Vocational School.

For being recognized as Academic All Star, Bertram will receive four tickets to a Gladiator’s game, merchandise from the team, recognition at the game, and Partners in Education merchandise from the Lottery.

The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year.
