Twelfth grader is recognized by the Ohio Lottery
NORTH RIDGEVILLE - Kristen Rohrer is a twelfth grade student at North Ridgeville High School. She was recently named an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery. She represents the Lorain area for the month of March.
“Kristen Rohrer is extremely involved in school and community activities. Meanwhile, she has maintained the number One ranking in her class throughout high school. She has focused on academics yet her extra curricular involvement and the countless hours she spends volunteering for her church certainly deserve recognition,” says, Principal Patricia Bahr.
Rohrer was one of one hundred and fifty selected to spend one weekend sight reading music which concluded in a concert. She has won numerous honors for her vocal and instrumental abilities. She is the Field Commander for the Marching Band for the past two years. She is involved with the “Adopt-A-Highway” project. It is no wonder with Rohrer’s involvement in all of these activities that she is an Academic All Star.
For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Rohrer will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year. For more information about the program and for nomination forms, go to the Academic All Star links on this web site's home page.
