Cardinal Middle School Student is Honored by The Ohio Lottery

Middlefield, OH—Eleni Timas is a seventh grader at Cardinal Middle School in Geauga County. She is a 4.0 student who also plays basketball and volleyball. She is dedicated to everything that she participates in and is described as “an excellent role model.”

She is the Captain on the volleyball team. Her teacher, Melissa Cardinal, describes her as a leader, hard worker, and a dedicated student. Timas was selected as Student of the Quarter at her school by teachers on staff.

It is no surprise that Timas is the recipient of the Ohio Lottery’s Academic All Star Award for the month of March. Timas represents the Akron/Canton area.

For being recognized as Academic All Star, Timas will receive four tickets to a Lake Erie Monsters’ game, recognition at the event, a merchandise prize pack from the team, and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Lottery.
