Student at The Knight Academy is honored by the Ohio Lottery

TOLEDO - Carrington Gelardi is an eighth grade student at The Knight Academy located in Lucas County. Gelardi was recently honored by the Ohio Lottery as an Academic All Star for the month of January. She represents the Toledo area.

Gelardi is achieving all A’s in her classes. She has an excellent attendance record. She exhibits a great work ethic and is dependable, trustworthy and responsible. She is described as dedicated and is a “model” student. She is willing to help others and is very active in school activities such as the Chess Club, Art Club and student leadership team. Gelardi is also active in her community and enjoys volunteering to assist many groups in the Toledo area.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Gelardi will receive four tickets to a Toledo Walleye’s game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
