Academic All Star award is given by the Ohio Lottery

NORTH RIDGEVILLE - Drew McGhee is a 12th - grade student at North Ridgeville High School located in Lorain County. He was recently acknowledged by the Ohio Lottery as an Academic All Star for the month of January. He represents the Lorain area.

McGhee is described by his principal as a “straight A” student with a 4.1 G.P.A. He has earned Academic Honors during his junior and sophomore years. McGhee is the captain for the Varsity Boys Basketball Team. “He is one of the most personable students in the school. He always puts others first and is very respected by his peers and our staff,” says school principal, Patricia Bahr.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, McGhee will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
