Xenia High School student receives recognition

XENIA - Cassandra (Cassie) Whitley, a 12th grade student from Xenia High School, was recently recognized as an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery. She is an Academic All Star for the month of February.

Whitley is a leader in the classroom and on the athletic fields. She is a member of the Girls Varsity Track Team and the Girls Varsity Basketball Team. She is a member of Renaissance and the French Club. She is also a member of the Student Council Executive Board. She is a member of the youth group and an usher at her church. She is known to be an excellent player and a great student. She is also described as an asset to the teams that she plays on at school.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Whitley will receive four tickets to a Cincinnati Cyclones’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
