Seventh grade student is named an Academic All Star
CLYDE Matthew Webb is a seventh grader at McPherson Middle School located in Sandusky County. He was recently named an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery. He represents the Toledo area.
“Matt is certainly one of the finest students I’ve had in my thirty-six year teaching career,” says William Young, a teacher at the school. Webb is described as a class leader and an all “A” student in the classroom. He was a runner up in an annual National Geographic Geography Bee and has had several projects judged as a superior that he has completed.
For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Webb will receive four tickets to a Toledo Walleye’s game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
The Ohio Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year. For more information about the program and for nomination forms, go to the Academic All Star links on this web site's home page.
