NORTH RIDGEVILLE - Matt Kretschmer was recently recognized as an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery for the month of February. He represents the Lorain area. He attends North Ridgeville High School.

Kretschmer is a member of the concert band and Key Club. He also delivered a speech for Veterans Day to over 1,200 students. Kretschmer’s other achievements are running on the cross country team and participating in the marching band. As an eighth-grader, he was the proud recipient of the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Kretschmer will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
