Arlington Park Elementary Student Named Academic All Star

COLUMBUS -Tyquan Kendrix is a 4th grader at Arlington Park Elementary School. Kendrix was recently named an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery for the month of December. He represents the Columbus area.

Kendrix has been selected to the Student Council by his teachers and classmates for the past three years. A school volunteer says, “He always has a friendly smile on his face, helps classmates and peers to solve conflicts peacefully and is a good role model.” Students and staff of Arlington Park see Kendrix as respectful to everyone he meets and a natural born leader.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Kendrix will receive four tickets to a Columbus Blue Jackets’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
