Greeneview and Ohio Heritage Conference Scholar Athlete Receives Recognition
Jamestown... Andrew Hull is in 11th grade at Greeneview High School. He was recently named The Ohio State Lottery’s Academic All Star for the month of December. He represents the Dayton area.
Dr. Wallace Campbell, the Principal at the school, describes Hull as having one of the most positive attitudes that he has seen in his forty-four years in public education. “The training that his parents give him in civility is obvious in his positive behavior. Andrew has perfect attendance thus far this year. In fact, he has perfect attendance since 8th grade,” comments Campbell.
Hull is involved with community service and participated in the SODA Club (Students Opposed to Drugs and Alcohol). He also assists with evening bus duty and is able to handle just about anything with ease. He was selected as a Greeneview and Ohio Heritage Conference Scholar Athlete for the past two years. He is a teacher’s aid to one of the school’s Spanish teachers. It is with no surprise with all his accomplishments that Hull is being recognized as The Ohio State Lottery’s Academic All Star.
For being recognized as Academic All Star, Hull will receive four tickets to the Dayton Bombers’ game, recognition at the event, and a merchandise prize pack. He will also receive an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Lottery.
The Ohio State Lottery will continue to recognize Academic All Stars and Teachers of the Month throughout the school year. For more information about the program and for nomination forms, go to www.Ohiolottery.com.
