Beachwood Middle School student is honored by the Ohio Lottery

BEACHWOOD - Ian Mitchell is a 6th grade student at Beachwood Middle School. Mitchell was recently named an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery for the month of April. He represents the Cleveland area.

Mitchell is described as a “standout student” by his teachers. He was nominated for the award for his work ethic and “consistent positive interaction” with classmates and teachers. “Ian is constantly putting forth his best efforts in school and always paying close attention to detail in his work,” says teacher Dugan Bentley. Mitchell leads by example and is committed to succeeding in school.

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, Mitchell will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Indians’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
