Student is recognized by the Ohio Lottery 

STRUTHERS - Makala McCormick is a 3^rd grade student at Struthers Elementary School located in Mahoning County.  She was recently acknowledged as an Academic All Star by the Ohio Lottery for the month of April.  She represents the Youngstown area. 

McCormick is described as well mannered, easy to get along with, honest, kind and helpful to her teachers.  She turns in quality assignments in a timely manner.  She exhibits leadership skills and is a good judge of character.  She is known as possessing a good work ethic and is consistently responsible. 

For being recognized as an Academic All Star, McCormick will receive four tickets to a Cleveland Indians’ game, recognition at the event, merchandise from the team and an assortment of Partners in Education merchandise from the Ohio Lottery.
