Interested in becoming an Ohio Lottery Retail Agent?

1. You will earn 5.5% commission on every sale, and up to an additional 1.5% based on your cashing ratio.
2. Increase customer traffic. Lottery customers will often buy additional products when they are coming in to buy an Ohio Lottery ticket. Lottery customers are repeat customers.
3. The Ohio Lottery will provide you with all of the necessary equipment, training and merchandise to maximize your sales potential.
4. Lottery tickets are issued to you on consignment, you pay for them after you sell them.
5. A bonus is also given to agents who sell the winning (jackpot) ticket(s) in the following games.
   • Mega Millions - $1,000 per million bonus*
   • Mega Millions(5 of 5) - $1,000 bonus
   • Classic Lotto - $1,000 bonus
   • Kicker - $1,000 bonus
   • Rolling Cash 5 - $500 bonus
   • Ten-OH! - $1,000 bonus
     
     * Shared among all winning ticket selling agents, minimum bonus of $10,000. The Ohio Lottery caps the total selling bonus at $100,000 per agent.
     
6. The annual net sales and commissions for the average agent retail location:

• Net sales: $240,000
• Commissions: $15,000 (sales commission and cashing bonus)

1. Go to our documents page to download the necessary forms. Simply fill them out and mail them back to us; or
2. Contact the Ohio Lottery regional office nearest you; and
3. The Ohio Lottery will then notify you with the status of your application.
