Common Sense Business Regulation In accordance with EO 2008-04S and HB 285, the Ohio Lottery’s goal is to assure that its licensed retailers have the opportunity to achieve compliance with its regulations. In order to foster this goal, it is the Ohio Lottery’s policy to proactively contact licensed retailers and applicants to address problems. A penalty will generally not be imposed for violations unless the Director determines the violation poses actual or potential harm to the agency or the citizens of Ohio.
