COMMISSIONERS
Jonathan A. Allison
of Hilliard, was appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission for a term ending August 1, 2009. Mr. Allison has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Maryville College and a law degree from The Ohio State University. Mr. Allison is an Assistant Vice President and Director of Government Relations for the State Auto Insurance Companies.
Jaladah Aslam
of Youngstown was appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission for a term ending August 1, 2010. Ms. Aslam serves as Staff Representative for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 8. Ms. Aslam serves as President of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus' Youngstown-Warren chapter, and as Labor Relations Vice Chair of the Mahoning County Democratic Party. She is a member of the Mahoning-Trumbull AFL-CIO Executive Board, the NAACP and the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists. A Youngstown city school graduate, Ms. Aslam holds a degree in Applied Science from Youngstown State University.
Otto Beatty III
of Columbus, was appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission in March 2008, for a term ending August 1, 2010. Mr. Beatty graduated cum laude from Morehouse College and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Currently, Mr. Beatty is co-owner of E.E. Ward Moving & Storage of Columbus. Previously, he was a partner in the law firm of Baker & Hostetler LLP, and served as a judicial law clerk and staff attorney to the Honorable Peggy L. Bryant in the Ohio Court of Appeals, 10th District.
Erskine E. Cade
of Cleveland, in Cuyahoga County, was re-appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission on December 6, 2002. He was re-appointed for a term ending August 1, 2008. Mr. Cade is Senior Vice President and Director of Government Relations for KeyCorp. He received his B.A. degree from Case Western Reserve University.
Allan C. Krulak
of Cleveland was appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission for a term ending August 1, 2009. Mr. Krulak, who currently serves as Commission Chair, is Vice President, Director of Community Affairs, for Forest City Enterprises, Inc. A lifelong Cleveland-area resident, Mr. Krulak attended Ohio State University, Mexico City College and Marquette University.
Patrick McDonald
of Columbus, was appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission for a term ending August 1, 2009, and currently serves as the Commission’s Vice Chair. Mr. McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Dayton. Mr. McDonald is a former Deputy State Treasurer in the Ohio Treasurer of State Office and is Deputy Director of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
Elizabeth Luper Schuster
of New Albany, was appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission for a term ending August 1, 2008. Ms. Schuster has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University. Ms. Schuster teaches at Capital University. She is the former Chief Legal Counsel for Governor Bob Taft.
Jerry Y. Seaman
of Sunbury, in Delaware County, was re-appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission for a term ending Aug. 1, 2008. Mr. Seaman is the Executive Director of the Ohio Credentialing Board for Chemical Dependency Professionals, which oversees the certification of more than 9,000 professionals throughout the state. The Board is headquartered in Columbus. A certified chemical dependency counselor, Mr. Seaman has helped develop a compulsive gambling hospital treatment program, and has been active in this field since 1975. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Michigan State University, and a master's of divinity degree from the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, Ohio .
Rudy M. Stralka
of Garfield Heights was appointed to the Ohio Lottery Commission for a term ending August 1, 2010. Mr. Stralka is an Assistant Professor at Cuyahoga Community College’s School of Business Administration and specializes in the field of strategic and transitional management within the public sector. Mr. Stralka holds an M.B.A. from Baldwin Wallace College, along with post graduate work in Organizational Leadership at North Central University.
