Education Sponsors

The Ohio Lottery is proud to work with sponsorship partners around the state to support education. Below is a list of all of the sponsors that the Ohio Lottery works with which provide educational endeavors to the children of Ohio.

Karamu House - The Karamu’s Cultural Arts Education and Outreach Programs provide opportunities for adults and children to experience multicultural arts, music, dance and theater.
   
   
Invent Now®, Inc., - Invent Now helps foster children’s innate creativity and innovative spirit in their innovative educational programs. Children create and discover 21st century skills that will benefit them both in school and life. The organization provides science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) enrichments through inquiry-based, hands-on learning. The Ohio Lottery sponsors its premier program, Camp Invention.
   
   
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (NURF) – The NURF celebrates the courage and multicultural experience and knowledge of the Underground Railroad. This Freedom Center provides an array of programs to educate the public about both historic and ongoing struggles to establish universal freedom in the United States and around the world. The Ohio Lottery sponsors the Schooled on Freedom educational program and Freedom Summer Camps program.
   
   
King’s Arts Complex – King’s Art Complex helps to improve the quality of life in local communities and society creating enhanced understanding and harmony through creative expression and education such as theater, arts, dance and music. The Ohio Lottery sponsors this year’s summer, winter and spring camp programs.
   
   
Great Lakes Science Center (GLSC) – GLSC provides an education program which includes school field trips, summer and school break camps, late night and overnight camp-ins, evening for educators events and additional special programs. The program focuses on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) experiences. The facility offers hundreds of hands on exhibits, OMNIMAX films and over 4,000 educational demonstrations annually. The Ohio Lottery currently sponsors their exhibition called Frogs: A Chorus of Colors.
   
   
Partner Sport Teams The following major and minor league professional sports teams help us salute teachers of the month and academic all-stars. They also donate autographed items in association with the Ohio Lottery Partners in Education Program. Many also provide the opportunity for us to utilize their mascot, alumni or staff to promote education and special recognitions, such as the School of the Year program.

  • Lake Erie Monsters (The Lottery also sponsors the Monsters Respect Tour, which is a school program that promotes a message of respect, teamwork and belief in oneself – targeting grades three to six. Travels to a minimum of nine schools.)
