Persistence Pays $110,000 Prize

ATHENS - A New Lexington resident knows the value of persistence. Randy McCabe won $110,000 in the May 24, 2014 Rolling Cash 5 game after playing the same birthday combinations for 25 years.

McCabe receives $78,100 after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent. He has no plans for the money. Randy says he’ll continue to play Rolling Cash 5, but he might pick a new set of numbers now that the first one came in.

He purchased the winning ticket from Woolfes Huff & Puff Mini Mart. Located at 605 N. Main Street in New Lexington, this retailer receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a five-of-five Rolling Cash 5 ticket
