Third of Four Rolling Cash 5 Prizes Claimed

CLEVELAND-A Wickliffe resident is saying persistence pays off. She has been playing the same set of numbers ever since the Rolling Cash 5 game started in October 2004. Dessi Koeth won $216,000 on the April 20, 2014 Rolling Cash 5 drawing when the jackpot rolled to $846,000. Four lucky players picked winning combinations and Koeth was one of the four.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Koeth receives $153,360.

She says to Lottery players, “If you have a set of numbers, keep playing them -- that’s what I did.” She will use the windfall for home improvement and the rest is to be determined, she said.

She purchased the winning ticket from Spinners Discount Tobacco, 29728 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe. Spinners Discount Tobacco receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a five-of-five Rolling Cash 5 ticket. Jeffrey Boyle of Lisbon and Judy Guill of Shelby both held five-of- five winning tickets. Boyle purchased the winner from Circle K in Salem. Guill purchased the winner from Shelby Carryout in Shelby. Both retailers received $500 agent bonuses for selling winning tickets.
