A $100,000 Discovery

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS- A resident of Ashtabula said yes to the KICKER on March 29, 2014. However, it wasn’t until April 13, 2014 that Robin Napolitan discovered that she won $100,000 for saying yes to the KICKER on her Classic Lotto ticket.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Napolitan receives $71,000.

Robin said that she always says yes to the KICKER. She’s been playing Lottery for six years. She found out she won upon return from vacation. She had 3-4 weeks’ worth of tickets that needed checking. After taking her bundle to her regular Lottery stop, it was there that the clerk told her that they sold a top prize winning ticket. Robin was ecstatic that her Lottery stop had sold a winner.

As her tickets were being checked, the clerk asked her the question. “You have no idea do you? You won $100,000.”
She purchased the winning ticket from Lift Bridge Landing. Located at 1032 Bridge Street in Ashtabula, this retailer receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize-winning KICKER ticket.
