$2 Million TPD Winner Takes Cash

CLEVELAND –Claiming a top prize entry ticket on September 18, 2009, little did a semi-finalist know that almost four years to the date, he would become the next Ohio Lottery millionaire. Hector Colon of Painesville won $2 million in the top prize drawing for $150 Million Blockbuster. That drawing was held September 18, 2013 at Lottery Central.

Colon took the cash option. He receives a lump sum of $710,000 after mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent.

There were 29 entries in the top prize drawing. Colon purchased the ticket September 18, 2009 at Painesville One Stop. Located at 110 Liberty Street, Painesville One Stop received a $10,000 agent bonus.
