TPD Finalist Predicts Her Win

COLUMBUS- After becoming an instant game semi-finalist in a top prize drawing six months ago, a home care aid worker of Grove City predicted she would win the million dollar prize. The prediction came true. Rebecca Morris won $1,000,000 after her ticket was selected in the Ohio Lottery’s top prize drawing on the instant, Classic Black II.

Morris received a call from an Ohio Lottery representative telling her she won the prize of $50,000 a year for 20 years. Morris chose the cash option. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, she receives a check for $355,500.

There were 25 entries in the top prize drawing conducted on March 19, 2013. Morris purchased her ticket last October 2012. Her TPD entry worth $5,500 automatically qualified her entry into the final drawing. She purchased the ticket from Stringtown Petroleum, 2375 Stringtown Road in Grove City. Stringtown Petroleum received a $10,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.
