CLEVELAND -- The winner of a $1-million winning ticket sold for the Aug. 8, 2012 Powerball drawing has claimed the prize in trust.
Spiros Gonakis is trustee of The EK Trust, which receives $710,000 after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 29 percent.
Sunoco #15 Hop-In-Food Mart of Maple Heights sold the winning ticket. The holder of the ticket picked the winning numbers. The winning numbers were 3-7-11-15-28. The Powerball number was 12. Located at 5270 Warrensville Center Road, Sunoco Hop-In Food Mart receives a $1,000 sales bonus.
