LORAIN – The winner of an Ohio Lottery game is the latest to claim a top prize. Margaret Workman of Ashland won $500,000 scratching Platinum Payout.
After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 29 percent, Workman receives $355,000.
She purchased the winning ticket from BJ’s Wholesale Club #124. BJ’s Wholesale Club #124 receives a $5,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize winning Platinum Payout ticket.
