$250,000 On-line and Instant Wins


COLUMBUS – Two Ohio Lottery players won the same prize amount but on different games. David L. Adams of Bucyrus won $250,000 on the Lucky 7’s Playbook. Ora A. Owens Jr. of Carey, Ohio won $250,000 after matching five numbers and no mega ball in the April 27 Mega Million’s drawing.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent are withheld, Adams and Owens will each receive a check for $177,500.

Adams purchased the top prize winning Lucky 7’s Playbook ticket from Circle K #5240 at 325 S. Lane Street in Bucyrus. Circle K receives a $2,500 bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket in this game.

Owens purchased the five-of -five second-tier mega millions ticket from Friendship Food Store in New Haven. Located at 2700 US Rt. 224 in New Haven, Friendship Food Store receives a $1,000 bonus for selling a second-tier five-of-five mega millions winning ticket.
