Winner gets $250,000 top prize

Mother gives son a great gift

YOUNGSTOWN- A 43-year-old Youngstown resident is a top prize winner of an Ohio Lottery instant game.  John Zagotti won $250,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s Holiday Lucky Times Ten.

On April 20, 2011 at the Kwik Fill Station on Youngstown Poland Road, Ohio Lottery representatives presented Zagotti with an oversized check for $250,000.

In December, 2010 Zagotti received the ticket as a gift from his mother. That ticket turned out to be worth $5,500 and automatically qualified him for entry into the drawing for a top prize of $250,000. Zangotti was one of 30 entrants. The TPD ticket was purchased from Kwik Fill Station on Youngstown Poland Road. The TPD drawing was held at Lottery central on 4/12/2011.

Standing in shock was John and his wife fell to the floor crying with joy.  Because John’s mom had given him the ticket, he said he is going to do something real special for his mom. The rest would be put in the bank until his plans for the money are finalized.

Kwik Fill Station receives a $2,500 agent bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.
The Ohio Lottery is actively seeking winners of all prize levels to share their stories.  Players with an interest in telling theirs can contact the Ohio Lottery at www.ohiolottery.com/winners.
