$1 Million New Year’s Raffle prize claimed in Trust

CLEVELAND -The holder of a winning $1 million ticket sold in the Ohio Lottery’s New Year’s Raffle game has come forward, claiming the prize in trust.

Allison Mantz McMeechan is trustee of The TLS Trust. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, the trust shall receive a one time cash payment of $690,000.

The winning ticket, #336561 was purchased at Mentor Discount Tobacco and Beverage, 7411 Mentor Avenue. Mentor Discount Tobacco and Beverage receives a $5,000 agent bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.

The New Year’s Raffle game offered 3,334 total prizes, with the Ohio Lottery drawing $1-million, $10,000 $1,500, $500 and $100 prizes. Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their New Year’s Raffle prizes.
