Winning because of the holidays

COLUMBUS - It was because of the holidays that two Ohio Lottery players got lucky. Buying holiday instant games, Connie S. Hedges of Circleville won $50,000 on Holiday Lucky Times 10. John B. Harris of Columbus won $20,000 on the Holiday Gifts instant game.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Hedges will receive a check for $34,500. Harris receives a check for $13,800.
