Gahanna player wins $100,000 KICKER

COLUMBUS – Affirmative action brought a winning response for a Gahanna resident.  Randall L. Lucas said “yes” to the KICKER number printed on his 12-18-09 Mega Millions ticket, which resulted in an action: he won a $100,000 top prize in the game.

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Lucas will receive a check for $69,000.

Lucas purchased the winning ticket from Stoney’s Market. The winning KICKER number was 4-7-5-5-8-1. At 3517 Lockbourne Road in Columbus, Stoney’s Market receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a winning ticket.

The Ohio Lottery is actively seeking winners of all prize levels to share their stories. Players with an interest in telling theirs can contact the Office of Communications at 216-774-5685.
